Therefore, Mary MacKillop Today seeks not just to comply with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Act), including the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and any other applicable privacy laws in Australia but we seek to demonstrate a culture of best practice within a spirit of accountability and respect.

Mary MacKillop Today is committed to regularly updating our practices to accommodate changes in technology, the organisation’s function and legislation. Regular 6 monthly refresher training on individual and organisational responsibilities will be conducted for all staff as well as 6-monthly spot checks by the two Data & Privacy Focal Points to manage the risk of data breaches.
